For lovers of the fine art, architecture or design the Bauhaus is a great classic. The drj project CENTURY, idee bauhaus exhibition features 100 contemporary artists reflecting on the work of the legendary art school.
No other school in the 20th century has had a greater impact on art, architecture or design than the Bauhaus. To mark the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, drj art projects, in collaboration with a carefully selected team of curators, invited 100 international artists to create a personal reflection in A4 format. From the extremely diverse material received, an exhibition entitled CENTURY. idee bauhaus has been organised and will be presented in Hungary as part of the Schroth Collection.
The selection was curated by Simone Schimpf, curator of the MKK Ingolstadt, Sibylle Hoiman of the Bauhaus Archive, artist-scholar Frederik Schikowski, architect and collector Frank F. Drews and the directors of the drj, Christiane Bail and Matthias Seidel.
