Balaton Wine & Gourmet is the most significant gastronomic undertaking of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture event series. Beyond its international outlook, its focus is on the culinary heritage and the winemaking traditions of the region and the country and the exciting present and future path of gastronomic development.

Children under the age of six may attend the festival free of charge accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
Daily admission tickets and passes only entitle the bearer to enter the area; the special programmes held in the Jesuit Church which are not free require the purchase of an additional ticket.
The admission ticket exchanged for such special programmes held in the Jesuit Church entitles the bearer to enter the entire area of the Balaton Wine & Gourmet event on the given day.
