Mária Magdolna Bódi – affectionately called Magdi – served God and others with all her strength during the darkest years of the 20th century. Her unwavering faith gave hope to those who suffered through war and hardship. At just 24 years old, she gave her life for Christ. Her martyrdom continues to inspire to this day.
The city of Veszprém will commemorate her life and legacy with a series of solemn and celebratory events, culminating in the beatification Mass on 6 September in the car park of the One Veszprém Arena.
