The Kabóca Puppet Theatre organizes the Kabóciadé Family Festival every summer, which is a multi-day, outdoor event, and as the title suggests: it offers an artistic program for all members of the family.
After several iconic locations in the city, it is currently held at the Kabóca Puppet Theatre, its park, and on the Love Island. The permanent characters are King Habakuk and Queen Boróka, who bring a magical imperial atmosphere into everyday life: they spice up the varied program with royal ceremonies to their greatest delight.
The audience can see not only the performances of the Kabóca company, exciting private theaters, independent puppet theater creators, and guest stone theater companies are also often among the performers. The spectacular outdoor performances are enriched by concerts, craft workshops, or even improvised stilt attractions.
One of its most popular events is the Night Adventure Tour, which presents each participant with a unique story, and the actors resolve the current conflict with the active involvement of the children.
