During the night-time dome presentations, visitors can observe celestial phenomena, planetary positions, interstellar gas clouds, and occasionally even comets through a telescope, all accompanied by expert commentary from an astronomer.

Moon photography offers a unique opportunity to take your own photo of the Moon's mountain ranges and craters using a mobile phone — so everyone can return home with a one-of-a-kind lunar image.

"Cosmic Journey" is a special attraction available exclusively at the Balaton Observatory, designed for the whole family. Visitors can experience a truly unique scientific spectacle: in the presentation room, a special interactive table comes to life and takes you on a virtual spacewalk. Nowhere else will you find such an experience that is entertaining, enchanting, and educational all at once.

For the latest updates, visit the observatory’s website or follow them on social media.

The lower level of the observatory — where the Cosmic Journey and indoor presentations take place — is wheelchair accessible. However, the dome, where telescope observations and moon photography are held, is not accessible.
