Oliva Restaurant is situated in the heart of Veszprém’s historic centre, in a quiet spot, a few minutes’ walk from the castle. The Mediterranean character of the restaurant’s name permeates the building and its gardens in summer, but the menu includes more traditional Hungarian dishes. Besides the main menu there are seasonal specials, which change every two to three weeks and include dishes from international cuisine. To crown these culinary delights, the wine list boasts a selection of wines from forty top Hungarian wineries, with a strong emphasis on wines from the Balaton region.
