On the western edge of the city, in the vicinity of the Veszprém Zoo, lies Gulya-dombi Park Forest, which is the perfect place for family outdoor recreation, where not only a playground, but also a dog run, a running track and a potluck place await hikers in the area.
The entire forest can be explored by following the Gulyadombi nature trail: the Queen Gizella viewing platform with its unique metal structure stands out among the foliage of the trees at a height of 22 meters, which resembles the crown of our former queen. From the lookout point, you can enjoy a wonderful panorama of the Bakony mountain ranges beyond the city.
