4-Course Menu with Asado Live Grill

Special guest chef of the evening: Jorge Esteban Bottyán
Born and trained in Argentina, Jorge has been living in Hungary for decades. He is currently the meat-grill specialist at the Michelin-starred Costes Downtown in Budapest.

Gyuri will bring his own Asado Grill and a carefully selected stock of hardwood. In the garden of Oliva, he will prepare outstanding Argentine steaks right before our eyes, slowly grilled over glowing hardwood embers.

This traditional cooking method dates back to the mid-19th century, when the gauchos – the South American cowboys of the Pampas – grilled their meat over open fires. They always used local wood, never charcoal, most often algarrobo or quebracho. The slow grilling over hardwood embers releases extraordinary aromas and flavours.
