The local history exhibition entitled Memory Machine, which is part of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture programme, is based on the collection work of the Laczkó Dezső Museum spanning the past 150 years, which has made it possible to create a comprehensive exhibition of the rich historical and artistic past of Veszprém, covering the entire history of the town.
The exhibition "Memory Machine" presents objects and stories of the town of Veszprém through time. We will talk about archaeological time, historical time through artefacts, as well as the real memory of the city, community time, personal time through the examples of individuals and heroes.
