In addition to unmissable international A-list stars, the festival will mostly feature more progressive artists of the jazz genre, communicating with borderline genres, taking into account the diversity of jazz.
Peter Gabriel and Sting's favourite drummer Manu Katché, nu jazz emblematic trumpeter Erik Truffaz, Grammy Award-winning guitar virtuoso Bill Frisell, brutal Swiss drummer Jojo Mayer and Scary Pocket, who has made a name for himself with his funk reinterpretations of well-known songs, will also perform at the Veszprém Jazz Festival from 16 to 19 November 2023.
The festival, part of the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture series, will feature nearly 30 concerts at Hangvilla, Expresszo and Papírkutya.
