Zoltán Orosz is one of the most versatile and sought-after accordionists of his generation. He has performed across the world – from Singapore to Siberia, Canada to India, Scandinavia to America – delighting audiences everywhere from major concert halls and arenas to open-air festivals. His astonishing virtuosity is matched by profound musicality, often earning him standing ovations worldwide. A child prodigy, he began performing at the age of 4 and was admitted to the Bartók Béla Conservatory at 10. His playing spans many genres, always delivered with extraordinary passion and nuance. Awards recognising his artistry include the Artisjus Prize, the eMeRTon Prize, and the title of Honorary Citizen of Bácsalmás.
Kornél Horváth is celebrated internationally as one of the world’s most original percussionists, thanks to his distinctive playing technique. He rose to fame with the Trio Stendhal (1987–1993), alongside László Dés and Ferenc Snétberger. His first major international success came at the Leipzig Jazz Festival in 1998, and since then he has toured worldwide with both permanent and occasional ensembles. He regularly gives masterclasses and workshops at universities across Europe and the USA. Over his career he has shared the stage with nearly all renowned Hungarian jazz musicians and many global stars, including Tommy Campbell, Tony Lakatos, Randy Brecker, Enver Izmailov and Al Di Meola. His awards are numerous, including Hungary’s highest artistic honour, the Kossuth Prize. In 2016, he was voted Best Percussionist in the World by readers of the prestigious British magazine Rhythm.
