Veszprém, Veszprémvölgyi u., Magyarország

The cycle path from the Laczkó spring in Veszprém is more than six kilometres long, from Márkó to Bánd, and most of it belongs to Veszprém. The route starts from Veszprémvölgyi street, then crosses the Séd river under the existing road bridge under the ring road, and continues at the foot of Csatár hill, on the left side of the Séd stream - on the right side of the downstream side. In the administrative territory of Veszprém, a section of 4,464 metres has been built, in the area of Márkó about 603 metres have been built and almost 1,750 metres have been painted, while in the case of Bánd, the length of the section built is 1,075 metres and the length of the section painted is 2,970 metres, the Urban Development Office of the Veszprém municipality said. The construction of the cycle path will make it easier for people going to work from Márkó and Bánd to Veszprém, and the route will also serve tourist purposes.

The road is three metres wide to provide access to agricultural areas and to allow safe cycling. In addition to cyclists, the cycle path is also accessible to vehicles entering neighbouring areas for agricultural, forestry and public works purposes, but no other vehicles are allowed to use the path, the municipality pointed out. The cycle path was built entirely with EU funding of some 253.5 million forints.
