Deák Ferenc Street Event Centre

In the heart of the city centre, a former Piarist gymnasium has been transformed into one of Veszprém’s most vibrant new cultural spaces. Opened in 2023, the Deák Ferenc Street Event Centre combines a modern event venue, puppet theatre stage, and community hub — all under one roof.

As part of the development, three new buildings were added, now home to a cosy café, a creative children’s area, and a small exhibition space.

What can you find here?

• A welcoming café serving aromatic coffee, fresh pastries and tasty sandwiches.
• An 80-seat auditorium, fully equipped with sound and lighting systems, plus tiered seating — perfect for puppet shows, performances, and smaller concerts.
• A playful children’s space complete with its own mini library and games, where little ones can feel right at home.

The centre also proudly hosts the Kabóca Puppet Theatre of Veszprém, making it a real fairy-tale destination for families!

Parking is available just 50 metres away in a surface-level car park.
