f|x|r has a dual function. On one hand, it serves as a venue for exhibitions, which can be traditional or digital (that means 3D and 360-degree projections using all the walls of the room) - or a combination of the two methods. On the other hand, there are two project rooms on site, in which interactive workshops are held.
You can find more information about the current exhibitions and programmes of the f|x|r gallery and media lab at the contact details and on the website of the House of Arts Veszprém.
The reason behind the creation of f|x|r is the idea that the consumption of traditional forms of art (e.g. paintings, sculptures) are difficult to interpret for the youngest generations. The youngsters growing up in front of the screen have different image processing habits, which f|x|r wants to keep up with. This aspiration is manifested in the subject matter, but also in the tools: various software, VR glasses and a 3D printer are available on site to help visitors interpret the sights.
