Laczkó Spring
8200 Veszprém, Veszprémvölgyi u. 122

Laczkó spring is situated on the Cloisters and Gardens walking route, at the end of Betekints Valley and the foot of Gulya Hill. From 2017 the spring is streaming again from the stone construction, making it possible for the exhausted hikers to fill their flasks with fresh water at any time. There is a fire pit, several wooden benches and tables, bicycle parking racks right next to it, and even a rain shelter is available for those taking a longer rest at the spring.

The construction of the spring was built in 1935 by the Friends of Nature Association of Veszprém. It was named after Dezső Laczkó, commemorating the Piarist teacher, geologist and museum director.
