The Rovaniemi Stairs are situated in the area of the Cloisters and Gardens. Its start is next to the Hungarian Folk Tales playground and it leads all the way up to Gulya Hill. The stairs are rather steep; however, the wooded environment gives the climb an adventurous and unique vibe, providing every age group with an amazing experience.

On the way up boards will be found with more interesting information about the Rovaniemi Stairs of Veszprém.

The idea of building the Rovaniemi Stairs originated from the Hungarian-Finnish Association of Veszprém, therefore it was obvious that the stairs should be named after the Finnish twin town of Veszprém, Rovaniem. The stairs represent the way the towns are building and strengthening their relationship “step by step” and tending to the close connections of Veszprém and Rovaniemi.
