Between June 14 and 18, a five-day joyous celebration awaits you in Veszprém and the Bakony-Balaton region to celebrate the first half of the EKF program year with a colorful array of programs and prepare the region for the remaining six months of the title.
Chet Faker, the Australian singer and songwriter, will be a guest of Gyárkert this evening on his 2023 tour. Chet, aka Nick Murphy, simply makes music that makes you feel good in your own skin, and the audience feels the same way.
Although Nick Murphy officially retired his musical alter ego Chet Faker in 2016, a few years later he rediscovered within himself the energies that created it many years before. According to him, the essence of the Chet Faker project is to be able to express your feelings with music and create compositions that are good to play, that come from very deep and are completely self-identifying - and that's why it feels good to listen to the audience. As he said before: "To write really happy music, you really have to know your own sadness. And that's the job that got me here." Soul, jazz, funk, light, 'feel good' tunes await the Veszprém audience on Friday evening.
