Between June 14 and 18, a five-day joyous celebration awaits you in Veszprém and the Bakony-Balaton region to celebrate the first half of the EKF program year with a colorful array of programs and prepare the region for the remaining six months of the title.
Morcheeba probably does not need to be introduced to anyone, they have been to Hungary several times and are popular performers at festivals and clubs. This time, they will take to the main stage in the heart of Veszprém, Europe's cultural capital, where they will treat the party-goers not only with their mainstream hits such as Rome Wasn't Built in a Day and It's Summertime, but also with their cross-border songs of the most diverse musical styles.
The British band has been turning up the clubs since the 90s with their musical repertoire made from a mixture of lounge, dub, trip-hop, blues and downtempo. Over the past decades, they have released 15 albums, of which nearly 6 million copies have been sold worldwide. Music reminiscent of the 90s and 2000s, which is often built on stronger psychedelic melodies, still has its place on stages around the world, as evidenced by the almost always sold-out Morcheeba concerts. As the members of the band have stated in several places, the continuous renewal and staying afloat depends on the constant search for inspiration and the fact that they have been able to remain self-identified since their inception. This guarantees the special atmosphere emanating from their music, which they are now bringing to Veszprém.
