The Hunger Games: Ballad of songbirds and snakes American action film playing in English with Hungarian subtitles in FOTON Audiovisual Centre.
Find out the story behind the Hunger Games 64 years before Katniss Everdeen volunteered for the contest, and decades before Coriolanus Snow became the dictatorial president of Panem.
Young Coriolanus Snow is the last hope of the once proud Snow family, who have fallen from grace in post-war Capitol. To secure his position, he reluctantly accepts the role of mentor to the impoverished 12th District's female tribute, Lucy Gray Baird. After Lucy Gray charms Panem's audience, Snow sees an opportunity to change the fate for both of them. He teams up with Lucy Gray to turn the odds in her favour, and from here on, everything he's worked for is hanging by a thread. His inner compass of good and evil battle it out as he races against time - and at the end of the race, if he survives, he turns out to be a songbird or a snake.
