Description

CODE – short for Centre of Digital Experiences – is located in the former Veszprém County Cultural Centre. It has spaces for the immersive presentation of digital content.

In the renovated building, visitors are welcomed by a variety of experience areas. The ground floor features permanent and temporary digital and analogue installations, while the first floor is mostly dedicated to immersive performances, screenings.

With its ever-changing and temporary exhibitions, CODE aims to showcase the greatest names of international art and the most important figures of Hungarian art and photography. It can also provide interactive, 3D and VR experiences for children.

The Digital Butcher Shop is one of the region's most state-of-the-art ‘playgrounds’. Visitors can watch and even test for themselves how a humanoid robot dances or how a robot dog barks. In the field of robotics, you can try out the Edison robot, which works with block programming, or even the Spike or Revolution robot, which can be assembled into different objects (cars, bikes, excavators), powered by a motor and, therefore, capable of a variety of movements.

f|x|r gallery and media lab

The f|x|r gallery and media lab is located at the FOTON Audiovisual Center in Veszprém Castle. The modern and innovative building provides space for the digital programmes and sessions of the House of Arts Veszprém. Its primary goal is to use modern technology in art, to involve the youngest generations who were born into the digital age.
